Steven McBee Jr. Reveals Where He Stands With Allie Eklund After Split

Steven McBee Jr. she continues to focus on healing after her breakup Allie Eklund – and says the former couple is no longer in touch.

I The McBee dynasty star, 31, only tells Us Weekly that while she’s learned important lessons in the relationship, she and Eklund haven’t spoken since their bitter public breakup last month.

“I got all his stuff back, but there’s no communication,” McBee said.

The reality star’s update comes as viewers prepare to watch her relationship with Eklund play out during the third season of The McBee Dynasty: The Real American Cowboyswhich premiered on Tuesday, June 16.

“There are intense discussions going on throughout the season,” said McBee. “I don’t know exactly what will be played. It’s obvious that we haven’t watched the episodes, so we watch them in real time as viewers. But I know from the recording, there are intense discussions about engagement, marriage. [and] long-term ability there. “

Watching those moments unfold again, he says, won’t be easy.

“The unfiltered answer is, yes. It’s very difficult,” McBee admitted. Whenever I go in, I go in, I’m totally committed, I’m honest, I’m honest, and in every way.

McBee and Eklund split in April after the Stagecoach feud played out publicly on social media. After the ceremony, Steven accused Eklund of infidelity, while Eklund denied the allegations and shared screenshots and videos contradicting his claims. Steven’s ex Call Jackson he later entered the conversation, sending his own screenshots and accusations about his behavior. Afterwards, Steven publicly apologized and began to focus on treatment and recovery from the trauma.

While considering the breakup, McBee says she remains grateful to Eklund and his family despite the end of the relationship.

He says: “It’s painful. “But I think it’s a good learning experience, too. I will definitely take this relationship. Thank you for them. I am still grateful to his family. I met some really nice people through that relationship and I’m very grateful to his family, the way they treated me and the good times we had.”

McBee also revealed that she has apologized to Eklund “directly” several times since their split.

As for whether he has found closure, the Missouri native says he is still considering ending a relationship he believed could lead to marriage.

“I understand very well where I went wrong, what I need to learn from that experience and how I need to deal with it better,” he says. It’s hard to really look at a relationship where you thought you were going to be engaged, married for a long time, and then literally end overnight.”

Earlier this year, Us exclusively revealed that McBee checked into a six-day mental health retreat following her breakup with Eklund. Now, the reality personality says her healing journey didn’t end there.

“I went to a retreat outside of San Diego. That was a six-day retreat, then I went to another one in Oregon a few weeks later,” he tells us, revealing that the second retreat lasted three days.

According to McBee, the first retreat focused on emotional triggers and childhood trauma, while the second focused on breathing exercises, mindfulness and emotional regulation.

“The reason for betraying me is something that made me have bad wounds in my growth,” he explained. “Whenever that hits, it almost takes me back to how I felt about the serious issues of betrayal when I was growing up.”

Since then, McBee says she has remained committed to treatment and has incorporated daily health practices into her routine.

“I’ve been to two retreats, I’ve been doing consistent therapy ever since and I’ve been practicing mindfulness every morning,” she said. “Journaling, concentration, meditation. Some things I’ve never seen can help you be more aware of how you’re feeling and how to stay in emotional control.”

One trend that surprised you the most?

“Yoga,” he said with a laugh. “Never in a million years did I think that yoga would somehow be associated with emotional control.”

For now, McBee says she’s not interested in getting back into a relationship but is focused on herself, her family and the family business.

“I didn’t [started dating],” he said.

The television actress also shut down recent speculations about her childhood Farmer Wants Wife alum Chelsea Blayne. The two were spotted together over the weekend at Billy Bob’s bar in Texas.

“No,” said McBee when asked if they were dating. “We’ve been friends for a while, so we’re just good friends.”

He also added that they had been dating for a while years ago before he was seen Joe Millionairebut they have remained friends ever since.

Despite the challenges her family has faced both on and off screen, McBee says the response from fans has been overwhelming.

“The amount of support and kind messages that have poured in across social media … means the world to us,” he said. “It certainly helps us in a very difficult time.”
