Jack Osbourne on Hatred for Attending UFC White House Fight

Jack Osbourne is addressing the online backlash over his decision to attend a controversial UFC fight at the White House.

“Okay, I want to talk to myself when I go to the White House for a UFC fight. First of all, one of the comments I’ve been getting is completely negative,” Osbourne, 40, said to the camera in a video shared on her YouTube page on Thursday, June 18. “I’m like, if***?

Osbourne then showed various screenshots of fans and social media users letting them know how they felt about his decision to attend the Sunday, June 14, UFC heavyweight fight. Josh Hokit named after the former first lady Michelle Obama “the man” when he interviewed him after the war Joe Rogan and after the victory Derrick Lewis.

“I’m so disappointed,” one person wrote about Jack’s decision to attend the event, while another post read, “Who would want to go…

“This is sad you can’t lie,” another fan wrote.

“Your country would be disappointed to say the least,” commented another.

“I recommend you listen to ‘War Pigs’ again,” another user wrote, referring to Jack’s late father, the rock legend. Ozzy Osbourneand Black Sabbath’s 1970 anti-war ballad.

In his Thursday video, Osbourne revealed that he did not attend the unprecedented sports event as a politician or potential politician — despite the obvious political premise — but as a fan of the sport.

“I didn’t go throw my hat in the ring to get a political position,” he said. “I wasn’t there to endorse a politician or some foreign affairs issue. Nothing. I literally went to the White House to see the UFC. I’ve been doing martial arts my whole life. I started doing Taekwondo when I was 6. I used to go to Thailand every year in my late twenties, early 20s to do Muay Thai. I’ve fought professional Muay Thai.”

Jack continued, “At 30, I started doing Ju Jitsu. I also attended UFC and Pride fights from the early 2000s. It’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. So when I was invited Dana White to go to war at the White House, of course I would. Anyone there who would get an invitation would have to go, I’m sorry. There’s nobody I can think of that would be, ‘Oh, no. I’m not going because I don’t like the Orange Man.’ Anything if ***. That’s funny. It wasn’t a political event, or in my eyes it wasn’t. It was a battle in the White House. Who gives as ***?”

Jack went on to say that during the ceremony he even asked his wife that, Aree Gearhartwhy the White House – also known as the People’s House – does not host many sporting events regularly.

“Actually, politicians used to do that, so it’s just food for thought,” Jack continued, before adding the people who resurrected his father directly.

The White House has responded after UFC fighter Josh Hokit called former first lady Michelle Obama a “man” during UFC Freedom 250. “She was very lucky last night,” White House spokesman Steven Cheung told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Monday, June 15 about Hokit’s comments. “He showed strength and ability to pressure his opponent […]

“Until people bring my father up to this, saying, ‘Oh, Ozzy didn’t agree, he’s rolling in his grave.’ “Shut the f*** up,” Jack said. (Ozzy died on July 22, 2025, of a heart attack following a public battle with Parkinson’s. He was 76.)

“My father didn’t know him. “Yes, he wrote the song ‘War Pigs.’ An anti-war song. He was not anti-UFC. He wasn’t anti-going-to-a-party-at-the-White-House. He is against war. Sure, fair enough. But, at the end of the day, my dad still attended the Authors Dinner the day Bush was president. George Bush He gave me hope.”

Jack then played a video of his father attending the 2002 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where the legendary singer stood on the table and gave the sign of peace after President Bush introduced him to the crowd.

“Plus, my dad does USO tours, he’s gone to Korea to see the troops. He’s attended Walter Reed Hospital events to see wounded soldiers and Marines and Air Force pilots, so shut the f*** up basically,” Jack added. “To bring my father into this, to say whether he will agree or not, is absolutely insane.

He concluded by saying, “I just attended an event for a game that I respect a lot and something that has been a part of my life since I can remember, so deal with it and I’m sorry you weren’t invited.”
