Days of Our Lives: Holly and Ari IMPROVED – Sophia Finds Hiding Out at Horton Cabin!

Days of Our Lives leaves fans hanging without closure on the future of Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd), because her body has not been found, dead or alive. And now, we have Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Arianna Horton (Vico Escorcia) heading out to the family cabin for some time off.

Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) gave the girls a locker after Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielson) recently attacked Holly again. So, we’re going to talk about whether Holly and Ari and Tate Black (Leo Howard) and Aaron Green (Louis Tomeo) are going to get Sophia home somehow.

Days of Our Lives: Holly & Ari’s Cabin Vacation & Sophia’s Mystery

Now, let’s get into it. So, Sarah knows how stressful it has been for Holly with Amy’s allegations about Holly’s role in Sophia’s alleged suicide. But Ari and Holly’s fun sunny trip to the cabin with the boys may turn into a nightmare when they discover Sophia Choi while out at the family home together.

You know, 2026 has been a rough year so far for Holly and Ari, especially when it comes to their former best friend Sophia. And yes, he targeted Holly and almost burned down her and Ari’s bedroom. But nothing compares to losing their former friend Sophia to this apparent suicide.

Their history is that Ari, Sophia and Holly were close as thieves growing up, but at the time of Sophia’s death, she was going out with Holly and Ari because of the way Sophia tried to ruin Holly’s life. It was all about Sophia and Tate’s ongoing concern. And because Ari and Holly said unkind but accurate things about Sophia on social media, Amy blames both of them, but Holly more, for Sophia’s death as a result.

Amy Choi is Furious on DOOL

Now, Amy didn’t even back down when Belle Black (Martha Madison) told Amy that there wasn’t enough evidence to arrest Holly for murder. Then Amy got even more angry when Belle revealed that her investigators found out that it was Sophia herself who started those posts on social media inviting people to say hateful things about her. That wasn’t something Amy could accept or believe and it’s clear that she keeps denying it about her daughter.

Days of Our Lives: Amy’s Civil Law and EJ’s Vow

Also this week, Sophia’s mother had a deep conversation with Melinda Trask (Tina Huang). And with criminal charges off the table, Amy now wants to file a wrongful death lawsuit against Holly. But after Amy confronts Holly and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) finds her adopted daughter crying at the scene, she makes a vow. So EJ told Holly that he would take care of Amy. And that was before Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) barged into the conversation uninvited and was trying to drive EJ away from Holly.

Then when Ari and Holly were there Brady Pub, this is when Sarah hears about the bad fight with Amy Choi. And Holly also told Sara about EJ saying he would take care of Amy. And that Xander jumped to the defense again. Sarah knows that Holly needs some time to enjoy herself and not think about all this extra trauma drama that Amy is trying to put Holly through.

So, for now, Ari and Holly are more than eager to head out to the Horton cabin for a little R&R. I also suspect that Tate and Aaron will go on a mini vacation to the youth area. You know, the youth scene, the young 20s. But when Ari and Holly go up there, they may find an unexpected and unwanted visitor lurking around. And we have to wonder, will the girls find Sophia Choi there?

Days of Our Lives: Is Sophia Alive or Dead?

Now, we still don’t know if Amy’s daughter is dead or alive. After Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) got angry at Sophia for trying to kill Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and promised her that new start and that she might leave town, things quickly went sideways because Kristen got Sophia to meet her at that remote place by the river.

And then, Kristen hit a rock on Sophia’s skull. Then Kristen ordered her officers to throw Sophia over the edge into the water. and Salem PD are searching. They sent out search and rescue divers again, but no one has found Sophia’s body Salem River or find him alive somewhere.

Sophia Lives Days of Our Lives?

So, this could mean that Amy’s daughter somehow survived or, you know, it’s possible that Sophia floated down the river where Kristen threw her into the cold water. And we’ve seen glimpses of Sophia a few times since then, but that was actually Kristen lying to her. And I think he was seeing Sophia because of Kristen’s conscience.

But we also know that Sophia’s artist, Rachel Boyd, was released from her contract in late April and her name was removed from the closing credits. However, that is a common practice for soap to do that. Even if the character has gone wrong and is gone for now, sometimes they do.

And, as you know, Days of Our Lives it is a revolving door of letters in and out. And in the Peacock soap, like Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) and EJ and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and many others, even death is not an obstacle to return to the soap. So even if Sophia is dead, she can still come back, but she might be alive.

Days of Our Lives: Cabin Discovery and EJ’s Discovery for Kristen’s Show

It would be nice to have some closure, though, and Holly and Ari might find him in the cabin. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sophia somehow survived the ordeal Kristen put her through and she was hiding and taking her time to strike when the time was right. In addition, Sophia would need time to recover from being hit on the head with a large old rock.

We have a lot more to come from this summer promo because if you think about it, few people know that Kristen made a deal with Sophia to get Johnny out. There was both of them and there was the henchman, you know, but in the long promo, we have EJ going ballistic on Kristen and you’ll see EJ blasting his sister for trying to kill her son Johnny.

And you have to wonder, how does EJ find out that Kristen was onto him? You know, it’s possible that Holly and Ari’s little vacation to the Horton cabin might find Sophia or raise her body. I don’t know the geography around Salem where the river faces the cabin, but if it’s downstream, it would make sense.

Evidence of Foul Play Controls Suicide in Days

After Kristen cracks her head and her rivals throw Sophia into the water, the Salem River it was supposed to slow the bleeding from the head wound and he might have just floated down to the beach and Sophia would have crawled to the toilet if she survived. Or Sophia might be stuck downstream and Holly, Ari, and the boys might stumble upon her corpse while hiking or boating near the house, which would be disturbing.

But an autopsy will show that Sophia was a victim of murder, not suicide, due to a fracture to the back of the skull. So, they might realize it was foul play and pass around a gun that a girl like Sophia shouldn’t have access to. And if he died from a head injury instead of drowning, that’s another red flag. There may be some text or phone calls between Kristen and Sophia on that hot phone she had. And what is important is that there may be evidence linking Kristen and Sophia. Or maybe he somehow survived and got Kristen out.

It feels so random for Sarah to just send Ari and Holly to the Horton cabin without anything happening. So, I feel like that’s out of left field. We haven’t seen that cabin in a while. And especially since we know that EJ soon finds out that Kristen tried to kill Johnny. I feel like this is what puts us on that path. I hope they find Sophia alive because if she’s a corpse it will be a common sight by then and you’d hate for the kids to stumble upon that.
