Brad Dalke Quits Good Golf Over Wife’s Health Issues

Popular content creator Brad Dalke leaves Good Good Golf after it is discovered that his wife, Abby“he has a hole in his heart.”
“These past six to eight months have changed my perspective on a lot of things,” Brad said in a YouTube video posted on Thursday, June 25. “It’s been a very eye-opening time in my life and Abbie’s life.”
After Brad and Abbie, both 28 years old, got married in June 2025, she suffered two miscarriages: one in September 2025 and the other in December 2025. The day after the second miscarriage, Abbie had an “eye stroke” that caused her to lose some vision in her left eye.
After extensive tests to determine the cause of the disease, doctors finally found a “hole” in Abbie’s heart, which Brad described as “a valve between the chambers that needs to be closed.”
“But his was open,” he explained. “There was also an aneurysm at the bottom of it, which meant it was moving around.”
Over the next four months, Abbie had a hematologist who finally diagnosed her with a blood clotting disorder. Once that determination was made, Abbie underwent surgery on June 1 to repair the hole in her heart.
“In that heart surgery, they basically get this attachment with two pedals on the side and one stick in the middle,” Brad said. “They put it on both sides of the chamber in the heart and the heart, over six months, grows around the device. It’s crazy how they do it.”
Brad said Abbie’s recovery is going “good” as the couple look to the future with hope.
“He is a trooper and he succeeded,” he said. “Hopefully this means a lot of greener grass in the future for his life.”
Since the surgery, Abbie has been seeing “fertility specialists” to hopefully find the cause of her two miscarriages.
Brad made the decision to step back from content creation “to be a home for Abbie and our future family.”
“I’m going to be completely honest and raw with you right now.” “I felt like in the last six to eight months, I’ve been a really bad husband,” he admitted, pointing to Abbie’s regular three doctor visits a week.
“I missed a lot of them,” he continued. “I was on the road, I was leaving when he went to the doctor at 6 in the morning and he has to go back to do everything at 7 in the morning. He has to hear a lot of news without me there, without me holding his hand. Hear a lot of bad news, too. Not a lot of good news happened at the beginning of this year.
Brad confirmed that Abbie “didn’t ask me to do this,” calling the choice to leave for good “my decision.”
“Don’t be mad at him for any of this,” he urged. “I feel like I haven’t been up to Abbie’s husband in the whole show, that’s killing me inside, I hate it.
