Why RHOC’s Gina Invited Her Ex-Husband to Travis Mullen’s Wedding

Despite their ups and downs, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiterex-husband, Matt Kirschenheiteryou will definitely get an invitation to his upcoming wedding Travis Mullen.
“When we get married, Matt and Britt will be 100 percent in our marriage because they’re family, that’s why,” Gina, 42, said to herself. Us Weekly of RHOC The season 20 premiere party on Tuesday, June 30, in Los Angeles, is aimed at his former partner and his new partner. “They had a lot of fun.”
Gina, who was married to Matt from 2010 to 2019, made the announcement in January Mullen proposed on New Year’s Eve after six years together. (Gina and Mullen have children from their previous marriages.)
“Obviously, [Matt and Britt are] we will be at our wedding,” said Gina Us. “I know it sounds weird and weird, but to me Matt is like my brother-in-law, and Britt feels like my cousin.”
He continued, “We really are a family, and my children would want all of their parents at such a big event and a big family moment, so they will be there 100 percent.”
Like the Bravo cameras, however, Matt and his girlfriend weren’t there when Mullen got down on one knee.

“It was really amazing. We were in Big Bear, California. We’re on this little ski trip that I took with the kids, and he took me. [to dinner],” said Gina Us of Mullen’s proposal. “We do a dinner party tonight, that’s our New Year’s Eve tradition. We dress up, we cook this big meal, and we always have to take a family picture. He’s like, ‘You know, I think we should take a family picture in the back yard, because there are these beautiful string lights. Can you come check it out and make sure we do this picture so we can?’
Gina, seeing the dark night sky during the storm, at first thought that the weather could not wait any longer for the photo.
“I go out there, and I actually started laughing at him because I was like, ‘It’s so dark … there’s no way we’re doing this picture,'” he recalls. “The next thing you know he’s down on one knee, I just blacked out, I was shocked that this actually happened, he just told me a lot of good things, and then he just asked me to marry him.
She added, “I really like that he kept that time a secret, maybe a little loud too, right? It was like, a month before we started filming. Like, that’s not fair, but that’s my man, my strong man.”
While Gina was happy that her marriage was not taken RHOC cameras, the judges are still out on their big day.
“It’s too early. I don’t think marriage on TV is my passion,” he admitted on Tuesday. “It’s a strange place, [and] It’s hard because I’ve shared a lot of my life. I didn’t think going to jail would be something I wanted to put on TV, or those bad songs, but you’ve seen all that, you’ve come this far. At least [our wedding is] it’s a fun time, but I don’t see us as that kind of couple.”
