LeBrun: “Yeah, so the Dallas Stars right after they got that no-deal news in Seattle. They spent the last 24 hours trying to re-engage with teams that showed interest in trading Jason Robertson.
But the problem is that most of those teams saw that he declined in Seattle, and I think it gave some of them pause. So there was a pause,
But there are two things to remember here. First, Jason Robertson wants to sign on in Dallas. Let’s not lose the plot here. It’s just that he wants to sign a certain number that Dallas doesn’t want to go to right now. Those talks, I am told, continue. They didn’t stop talking, so that’s one thing.

It’s a possibility for Jason Robertson. For $15 million a year in a seven-year deal that will cost you four first-round picks. You know what, maybe, with the Dallas Stars, that might be their get-out-of-jail-free card if they get those four picks.
