Lindsay Lohan Reflects on ‘Being Iconic’ on 40th Birthday

Lindsay Lohan he begins the new decade by looking back at his achievements.

“Forty. Thankful for all the chapters that brought me here,” Lohan captioned an Instagram post on Thursday, July 2, celebrating her milestone 40th birthday. “For lessons, laughter, love, unexpected turns, and people who have stood by my side through it all.”

Lohan told fans that her next decade is going to be “grounded,” “a lot of purpose” and “a lot of fun.”

“Here’s to family, friendship, new beginnings, and making the best memories yet,” he wrote. “Thank you for all your birthday love.”

The actress posted a carousel of photos showing the last forty years of her life.

Sharing a series of photos from when she was 10 years old, Lohan noted that she was “finding, doing” and “dreaming bigger” during these years.

“I was already working without even understanding what discipline means. I have been in this business since I was 18 months old,” he wrote along with these photos. “Days on set, soap operas, scripts in my hands, playing parts while quietly finding my parts.”

Lohan recalled a sense of “innocence” and “instinct” during that chapter of her life.

He referred to his 20s as a time when he “became iconic” among other things.

“It was success, attention, anticipation – and underneath it all, the girl still thinks about herself,” he wrote. “I was learning from experience, because of pressure, through mistakes, trying to hold on to who I was when the world decided who I should be.”

“I don’t want to be who I am anymore, I’m living with it,” he wrote. “Choosing a family, choosing a purpose, and creating a life that feels good.”

Lohan was looking forward to the future when she ended her career.

“There’s still a lot I want to create,” he shared. “Stories that are interesting, connect with people and make them laugh, stories that feel honest and moments that stay with people long after the screen fades.”

Lohan has said that she is “intentional” when it comes to her life and career.

“Choosing what’s relevant, what’s permanent, what’s important.” I am supported by love, my family, and the life we ​​are building together,” he wrote. “The best chapters are not behind me, they are the ones I am entering.”
