For Pitt, 62, de Ramon, 33, has been a safe haven as he continues to deal with the crisis of his separation from the group. Angelina Jolie. (Pax and Vivienne also casually dropped their father’s last name.) “Brad is focusing his energy on the parts of his life that feel good right now,” says a source close to Pitt. Us Weekly. “Ines has been an honest, sincere person, and has brought a sense of stability that she depends on, especially after a few emotional years.”
Both Pitt and de Ramon were coming out of civil divorces when their relationship began. Us confirmed that de Ramon was separated The Vampire Diaries actor Paul Wesley after three years of marriage in September 2022 (their divorce was finalized in 2023). She and the Bullet Train star were first spotted together in Bono concert in late 2022; said the source Us Shortly after that the actress was “struck” by a jewelry design exec. The couple embarked in 2023 on a sweet getaway to Mexico, and in early 2024, Us reported that de Ramon had lived with Pitt. (He bought a $12 million Spanish-style mansion in the Hollywood Hills last August.) An insider said Us when the inner actor is excited for them to take the next step. “Friends say he’s a very good influence on her,” the insider explained. “Brad is in love and happier than he’s been in a long time.”
The pair made their first public appearance at the British Grand Prix in July, with Pitt telling her later GQ the exit was not a sad one for his June 2025 film, F1. “No, man, it doesn’t count like that,” he shared. “How much can that bother you? If you live and do those kinds of calculations? No, life just changes. Relationships change.”
De Ramon checks all the boxes for Pitt. “He has a lifting power [and] it always looks for good things and always wants to enjoy itself,” said the source Us in early 2023. A third source says Pitt likes that de Ramon, who graduated from the University of Geneva in Switzerland and previously worked as a VP at fashion jewelry company Anita Ko, doesn’t mind the limelight. “He doesn’t compete with her for fame, she supports him and lets him do his things and he feels safe when he’s with her.”
One month after being linked for the first time, Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon were celebrating important moments together. The Oscar winner and de Ramon were spotted hanging out at Pitt’s 59th birthday in December 2022, just weeks after the pair were seen attending a Bono concert with a bunch of their famous friends, including Cindy. They keep things cool. “They prefer a low-key private life,” a third source revealed, “with private dinners and outings.” Outside of Paris and Mexico, the two were spotted on the Greek yacht Hydra earlier this year. (Pitt was in Greece filming his latest movie, Passengers.)
Insiders have previously told Us Pitt and de Ramon aim to be normal when they’re not working. “[They] take in art shows in LA and jam out to music and watch movies,” an insider said in 2023. “She was cooking for him; they exercise and go hiking.” A third source said: “Ines is still Brad’s crush. Emotional stability [she gives him] news [a great deal].”
For all the peace Ramon has brought to his life, Pitt’s relationship with his children remains strained. During a mother-daughter dinner at Spelman College in April, Zahara gushed about her actress mother, saying she’s “thankful for having a great role model to show me what it looks like to be a decent person.” The source said Us in September that all the children are currently separated from Pitt, even Knox and Vivienne, who were close to him. A fourth source says: “Brad hasn’t always been around in their day-to-day lives, mostly because of everything that happened during his marriage to Angelina and partly because of his work schedule and lifestyle,” said a fourth source.
A fifth source notes that Jolie, 51, “worked hard” during the first few years after the divorce to spend time with her children. (On June 5, while Pitt and de Ramon were in France, Jolie was seen attending Knox’s high school graduation. In her speech, the teenager announced her participation in a Muay Thai fight that night, saying, “I’m gonna knock ’em the f*** out!)
In court documents, Jolie accused Pitt of verbal and physical abuse during a private flight in 2016. In a 2024 file about the ongoing battle for Château Miraval, the actor said Pitt’s alleged abuse “started before” the flight. (The two bought the winery together in 2012 for an estimated $60 million; Pitt filed a lawsuit in 2022 alleging that Jolie had sold her shares in Miraval to Tenute del Mondo, the wine division of the Stoli Group, despite an earlier agreement that neither would sell their stake without the other person’s approval.)
Pitt’s attorney previously said the actor “had everything he needed to do from day one … but he’s not going to have anything he didn’t do.” The fifth source tells Us that Jolie participated in family therapy with Pitt and the children for many years “to try to heal after the events that led her to file for divorce.” A fourth source adds: “Angie has never discouraged the kids from being in a relationship with Brad. A Pitt source tells Us He is “devastated” by their decision.
De Ramon remains firmly in Pitt’s corner. “She wants Brad to find peace, forgiveness [and to] keep going,” said the insider Us May 2024. Another source said Us in December that Pitt “did a lot of work on him,” thanks in part to de Ramon. “He brought her many healings.” A third source says: “Ines encourages reconciliation with the children while maintaining healthy boundaries and not involving herself in family conflicts.”
Marriage is not the end goal. “It’s hard to imagine that when you look at Brad’s past experience, and Ines doesn’t care either,” said a third source. (Last June, an insider insisted that Pitt “showed his commitment” to de Ramon and that they were “on the same page” when it came to enjoying the relationship “without the pressure.”)
Still, friends feel confident that Pitt and de Ramon have great staying power. “Ines is a perfect match for Brad,” said a third source. “He’s her trusted confidante, and she’s more emotionally free in this relationship than ever before. They work well.”
