Dutton Ranch Ends Season 1 With Pregnancy, Death and Kidnapping

Yellowstone‘s Dutton Ranch the spinoff pulled out all the stops with its season 1 finale with an unexpected pregnancy, multiple deaths — and a kidnapping.

On Friday, July 3, an episode of Paramount+’s hit series, Oreana (Natalie Alyn Lind) took a pregnancy test and was found to be pregnant. He didn’t tell Carter (Finn Little) but the couple reunited and made plans to leave Texas behind.

Oreana’s father, Rob-Will (Jay Courtney), found her packing her bags, leading to a sad father-daughter moment. It didn’t last long, however, because Rob-Will went down to answer the door – and was shot by his brother Joaquin (Juan Pablo Raba).

Meanwhile, Carter was hired as he prepared to leave with Oreana. Joaquin’s father, Mariano (Raoul Max Trujillo), who arrived in town after being blown away by Beulah (Annette Bening) the operation falls apart, taking Carter as a way to lure Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Rip (Cole Hauser).

Ahead of the finale, Reilly, 48, and Hauser, 51, entered the cast of the hit Paramount+ series, telling The Hollywood Reporter that they were both interested in returning for multiple seasons.

“If the writing is good. You don’t want to hold on to this job, do you?” Reilly said. “So to be honest, we’re very grateful to be here and if we get a chance to continue doing something we’re proud of, we’re here. If not, we’re both active actors and we’ll be fine.”

Hauser called it “great” to continue, adding, “I always feel that if the audience continues to talk about the show the way they’ve talked about it for the last 10 years or so, I’d like to continue to entertain them.”

Season 2 is expected to look different, however, in hindsight Us Weekly he confirmed that Chad Feehan He will not return as a running back after retiring in season 1. He continued: “We have been doing this for a long time, things are changing, people are moving forward.”

Reilly had the same idea about the shakeup. “It was a really hard show but really satisfying to do,” she said. “So was Yellowstone.”

Looking ahead, the actor wanted to focus on the positive. “So is anything that needs to be done,” he concluded. “We all have a creative mind and we all work together and I’m proud of that.”
