Love Is Blind’s Nick Lachey Reveals Very ‘Scary’ Breakup

Love Is Blind the hostel Nick Lachey she’s still managed ten seasons of engagements, weddings and heartbreak, but which breakup affected her the most?

Nick, 52, shared his “most shocking” Love Is Blind split between Wednesday, May 13, appearance Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohenafter an audience member puts him in place.

“That’s a really good question,” Nick said before thinking about his answer. “I think it’s sad for all of us when couples break up, because you see their love story, you see it play out.”

After taking some time to think, the 98 Degrees singer – who hosts a hit Netflix show with his wife Vanessa Lachey – he looked back at two certain couples Love Is Blind season 2, which aired in 2022.

“I think the worst thing for me is that both couples in season 2 in Chicago canceled,” Nick said, referring to. Iyanna McNeely again Jarrette Jones again Nick Thompson again Danielle Ruhlonly two couples of season 2 made it down but later broke up.

Nick continued, “It was like, ‘Oh, man.’ To be two [couples] then i see both of them walking and they have nothing … i don’t want to say anything to show chicago, but you get the point. It was a shame to see both of those relationships end.”

“You see their love stories, you hate to see any of them go to the side, because we really celebrate when people get [love],” he added.

Iyanna, 32, and Jarrette, 36, married in June 2021, but split just a year later. “After much thought, we are saddened to share that we have separated and will begin the separation process,” they shared in a joint statement on Instagram in August 2022. “While dating, our lives went in different directions and that’s okay. Coming to this decision was not easy and we will always wish each other the best.”

The couple finalized their divorce in November of that year, and Iyanna remarried her new partner, Alexander Lewisthis past January.

Fellow contestants Nick, 40, and Danielle, 32, also married in June 2021 and celebrated their first year together before Danielle filed for divorce in August 2022.

“There was no major catastrophic event,” Nick said only Us Weekly in October 2022. “Over time, these things started to build up … I don’t want to speak for him, but I know that I didn’t feel like I was getting the relationship that I needed to be successful and move forward with the relationship.”

“As we move forward and start to piece our lives together, you start to see the kind of cracks that you don’t see. [right away] based on how we met,” he added. “And, you know, we were still building our connection, but you go from being totally organized to kind of being out in the world to take care of yourself.”
