Summer House’s Mia Calabrese Gives an Update on KJ Post-Split

The promoter noted that in his “understanding” KJ and Dara, 33, “broke up” recently, so he has been keeping an eye on them both.

“I looked at Dara, I sent her a text, I just told her that I was thinking about her, because separation is hard, no matter what happens,” said Mia. Us. KJ revealed on the show that he was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in the fall of 2025 and was hospitalized for self-harm before getting the help he needed. (KJ confirmed in early June on the “More Life With Carl Radke” podcast that Dara broke up with him at the time because he “had to” while he was recovering.)

When Dara joined KJ during the 2nd part of the meeting, he told the manager Andy Cohen that they were together happily, holding his hand and smiling.

However, rumors of another breakup were spread in May when KJ untagged Dara in their couple photos.

Andy, 58, asked Jesse Solomon earlier this month why KJ and Dara were accused of unfollowing each other on social media, she replied, “They are broken up, yes.”

A few weeks later, Dara confirmed her relationship status, revealing on the Thursday, June 18, episode of the “Five Minutes More” podcast that she is single.

“That’s what we’re going to talk about because I can’t hold back tears this morning, and there’s no way I can talk without crying,” she said, talking about her heartache over not dating KJ anymore.

As KJ and Dara navigated their separate ways, Mia told Us he hopes they “do what will make them happy.”

“If the thing that will make them happy is being together, life is short, that’s what you should do,” he added. “And if what makes them happy is to be apart, then so be it.”

Mia, on the other hand, revealed that she “doesn’t know what my summer plans are” but her motto for the season is “live and have fun and see what happens.”
