“I haven’t seen it but I’ve heard from reliable sources that it does,” West, 31, said during the Broadcast Boys’ Wednesday, June 24, Instagram split. Summer House it’s a shame. “It is very illegal, I would like to be aware of it.”
During the video, the hosts Lucas Brody again Nelson Vergaraboth friends of West, told the reality star about the timeline of his relationship with Amanda. When it comes to the video that supposedly sparked their public statement, West admitted that he doesn’t know if it actually exists.
“From what I’ve been told it was Amanda and I was sitting in my house from one of my neighbors across the street,” West explained in a social media post. “That’s what kicked everything into panic, chase mode.”
When Lucas asked why West’s blinders were open if he is a “D-list” celebrity, he said he never expected to be filmed.
“I guess I always thought that in New York there was an unspoken rule that we could all see each other from our clear windows and balconies, like, don’t shoot each other,” West replied.
Lucas and Nelson, who are known for discussing hot topics online – and recording scandals using whiteboards – accepted West’s explanation but stopped short of criticizing how West and Amanda, 34, became a couple.
Lucas, meanwhile, called out West for releasing a “soulless” statement with Amanda on March 31 after denying rumors that they were together last week. (The statement came two months after Amanda and her husband separated, Kyle Cookeannounced in January that they had separated after four years of marriage.)

He did not reveal who wrote the statement, which confirms that the two are in love after not being friends for years.
“It’s obviously not me or him,” West added. “We put our google notes in it.”
When asked if he and Amanda were rumored to be hooking up on February 8 (Super Bowl weekend), West said no.

When asked what West’s emotional actions were for Amanda while filming season 10 of Summer House in the summer of 2025 there were any signs that they were secretly dating before their 2026 relationship, West again denied the allegations.
“It’s like who I am,” he explained with ease to his friends. “I always hug and tell my friend that I love them.”

Following the bombshell of West’s relationship with Amanda, the two reunited with theirs Summer House costars in April to film a three-part reunion.
During the episodes, the couple answered many questions about their relationship and their true feelings for each other. However, in time Summer House: The Aftermathwhich was filmed in May and aired earlier this month, West admitted that he had been caring for Amanda for a long time.
