Hollywood is in mourning after the TV legend James Burrows he died at the age of 85.

He was also a devoted family man and married to his wife, Debbie Easton Burrowssince 1997. James – who was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 2006 – had four daughters and seven grandchildren.
“Burrows understood that good humor wasn’t just about laughs, it was about humanity, connection and truth,” his family said in a statement. “His influence will continue to be felt for generations through the many artists he inspired, the stories he helped tell and the millions of people whose lives were highlighted by his work. … He will be greatly missed and remembered forever.”
Since his death was confirmed, many actors have shared their condolences and fond memories of working with James.
Will & Grace actor Eric McCormack he was one of the first to honor a “mentor” and a “giant” in the entertainment industry.
