Fans are eagerly waiting for news about season 6 Magnolias are sweet – but not all of the cast will return if the show is renewed.
Magnolias are sweetwhich premiered in 2020, is based on Sherryl Woods‘ novels about three women who have been best friends since childhood as they navigate their love lives, careers and family.
Before season 5 premieres in June 2026, Us Weekly he released the news that Carson Rowland he would never play his role as Ty again. A runner Sheryl J. Anderson you are only told Us that the actor made a “decision” to stay out.
“In his departure, we wanted to do the best with this situation,” he said. “And look what happens when people leave their loved ones to chase a dream.”
Anderson later told Deadline that the door was open to a return.
“We’ll have to wait and see, won’t we?” Anderson teased how the writers wanted to “give that story emotional weight, stakes, consequences” in Annie (Annelie Judge). “To act as if no one is thinking about him, no one is asking about him, and that he is not thinking about them would be dishonest, I believe.”
Anderson added: “He’s still there trying to figure out what happens next, he’s still at Serenity trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. And, the open doors that we hope will lead to new information, different decisions. Love is not cut and dry. You don’t just wake up one morning and say, I don’t love this person anymore, and move on. It takes time.”
