Buffy Star By Nicholas Brendon Handwriting To Be Revealed

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Nicholas Brendon it is said that he left “everything” he had to his twin brother, Kelton Donovan Schultzafter his death in March.

According to legal documents filed by Kelton, 55, on Monday, June 15, received by Us Weeklythe alleged handwritten will was written by Brendon before his death at the age of 54.

The alleged will, filed in Kelton’s file, captures a note on a piece of paper that reads, “My estate. Sarah gets nothing. Kel gets everything. He can figure it out.” The documents state that the ex-girlfriend Sarah Marker is one of four potential beneficiaries of the estate along with Brendon’s parents, Robert again Kathleen Schultzagain Kelton.

The late actor had no spouse or children, and the documents confirm that there is no current estimate for the value of Brendon’s assets. The documents also show that Robert and Kathleen both declined to “serve as administrator” of Brendon’s estate, both appointing Kelton instead.

Brendon’s family confirmed his death Us in a statement dated March 20, noting that he died in his sleep. “We are saddened by the passing of our brother and son, Nicholas Brendon,” the statement read. “Many people know Nicky for his work as an actor and the characters he has brought to life over the years.”

The statement continued, “He was loving, sensitive, and endlessly creative. Those who really knew him understood that his art was one of the things that reflected who he was.”

The following month, Us an autopsy report confirmed that Brendon’s cause of death was found to be atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease, with acute pneumonia and previous myocardial infarction (heart attack) as contributing factors. (The Mayo Clinic says atherosclerosis occurs when fat, cholesterol and other substances build up on the walls of blood vessels, causing them to narrow and block blood flow. Acute pneumonia is a sudden infection that causes “respiratory signs and symptoms,” according to the National Library of Medicine.)

Brendon was best known for portraying Xander Harris throughout all seven seasons Buffywhich premiered on The WB in 1997 before moving to UPN for its final two seasons until 2003.

In 2023, Brendon publicly revealed that he suffered a heart attack last year and that he was diagnosed with congenital heart disease. While facing numerous legal charges, including domestic violence and public drunkenness over the years, in addition to multiple prison terms, Brendon also underwent multiple spinal surgeries before his death.

He also suffered from ongoing emotional stress, as explained in an Instagram post in April 2023. “Sorry for the extra long absence. After two spinal surgeries and a heart attack, I have had many doctor’s appointments to resolve and deal with health insurance and pre-authorization sounds almost as exhausting and painful as he wrote at the time of my actual injury,”
